As a Catana agent for many years I had the good fortune selling this Catana (x- E O Mai) to the original Seattle area owners who had her shipped upon completion to Vancouver, BC arriving mid-1999. She was the last Catana 411 built benefiting from the 28 hulls produced previously. The galley and especially the salon layout was a big improvement as were the custom features the original owners specified including all wood veneer interior, additional storage and carbon mast. The original owners primarily sailed E O Mai seasonally in the Puget Sound and if I recall perhaps one or two trips down the Northern coast of California. 

In 2011 she was sold to her second (and current) owners who renamed her DARBROOK and had her shipped from Vancouver, BC to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Her owners are life-long experienced sailors based in Marblehead, MA and have maintained her with an open checkbook . . . and it shows! One would be hard pressed to step aboard a vessel of this age that was in better condition. Her age does not reflect her condition, not only because of the owners’ high degree of maintenance, but also due to the fact that she is only in the water since 2011 seasonally then hauled and shrink wrapped for the majority of each year. 

Other than two and half round trips from MA to Florida/Bahamas, she has never been a long term liveaboard. Vessel being sold excluding owners’ personal possessions and the name DARBROOK is reserved. Price reflects sellers’ serious motivation.
